F/T Development & Communications Coordinator

This position assists in the development of solicitation and communications materials, prospect research, donor tracking and stewardship, grant and report drafting, leveraging of social media, coordination of special events, representing the organization at community events, maintenance of media lists and use of those lists for distribution of releases, etc. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have successfully demonstrated core competencies in communications, administrative tasks, and project coordination. Requirements also include prior employment with progressive experience in fundraising/development and communications, strong computer skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), extensive experience using fundraising software/databases and work-related social media experience. Candidates should have a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure to meet organizational needs and be willing to work occasional early morning, late evening and/or weekend hours as needed.  

Bilingual Case Management Supervisor

The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for supervision of direct services, administrative coordination and service integration for in-need students & families within a collaborative school based program.   Provide direct supervision for program Case Managers and manage a client case load.  Successful candidates will have previous case management experience to include working with parents & knowledge of community resources.  Bachelor’s level degree and bilingual Spanish required.  Masters degree preferred.  The Case Management Supervisor must have strong organizational, communication and supervisory skills and be able to work independently and direct a team. 

Our Part-Time Opportunities include:


Site Coordinator (20 hours per week)

This position is responsible for community outreach, collaborative relationships, and administrative coordination at KWYS Linkages to Learning (LTL) sites.   Requires at least two years of college coursework.  Bachelor’s level degree strongly preferred.  Two year’s experience in the social services field or significant experience in outreach program planning, or other key areas.  Bi-lingual Spanish Preferred.

Case Manager (20 hours per week)

This position is responsible for case management in our adult homeless services program.  The successful candidate will provide intensive case management services to formerly homeless mentally ill adults in a supported community-based housing program.  BSW or related degree and experience working with adult homeless and mentally ill is required, MSW preferred.  Licensure strongly preferred; LCSW-C supervision available.

Serving Together Project Coordinator (30 hours per week)

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for: a) planning and coordinating all Serving Together related training events; b) assisting Project Director with administrative tasks, meetings, and daily activities of project; c) identifying community based resources to build database in conjunction with existing MHA programs; and d) coordinating and attending local resource events and military/veteran based information fairs. Coordination of trainings for the project include:  mental health professional continuing education unit (CEU) workshops, 12-hour Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) trainings for military families and military/veteran service providers, and community briefings on newly created service delivery system to project’s partners.  Once trained, Project Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the MHFA trainings and presenting community briefings.  Requirements include BA/BS in human service related field, Master’s degree preferred.  In addition, this position requires strong interpersonal, coordination and organizational skills; strong presentation and group facilitation skills; experience with training/conference planning and coordination; and proficiency in Excel, Access, & Word.  Familiarity with military or veteran’s services is preferred.
